ChanakyaShastra - The Navratnas of Creating Great Leaders
Chanakya is the greatest known kingmaker, strategist and thinker in the history of our nation. In Jawaharlal Nehru’s Discovery of India, Chanakya was called the Indian Machiavelli. Of all the great achievements that he is credited with, the creation of the king ChandraGupta Maurya was one of the most important in the history of our nation. Chanakya gave him the Navratnas, a careful examination of which would reveal that they are universal and timeless in their application. Their teachings can transform a modern day manager as much as they did ChandraGupta Maurya. The Navratnas are scattered across the three books – Chanakya Niti, Arthashastra and Niti Shastra.
