Rangvedh’s ‘Kalavisham Shaleya Bal Sanskruti Kala Mahotsav 07’…1st-3rd October…Interested Student Participants Can Call…For Ages 8 to 16 Years…

The Rangvedh Sanstha was formed and registered in 2000 in Amravati. In the last 5 years its people have won 12 Maharashtra State Drama Competition awards for Direction, Writing, Production and Acting. The sanstha has staged one and two-acts Hindi and Marathi plays all over Maharashtra. The staged plays have covered a gamut of social issues. Their plays like VISHVA SANHARAK BHASMASUR and EK Tha Dinosaur written by Manoj Ujjainkar have been well-known. Currently the sanstha is producing MOHAN BANE MAHATMA, once again written by Manoj Ujjainkar. The sanstha also regularly organizes theatre workshops and camps of school Children in Amravati. It has helped NGOs by creating public awareness about social issues. It has published a book for school children called Gandhi Ke Path Par in Marathi and Hindi. In May 2007 it also produced and released an audio CD titled Swapna Bhimache. This event will be held annually and an International Children Film’s Festival will be organized by the organization.The instituition will be shortly launching children’s “First Film Club” in Mumbai.

1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th October 2007.

Rangvedh Sanskrutik Samajik Shaikshanik Sanstha,
Amravati and Kala Vishvam Prakashan Sanstha Mumbai.

Students can participate in Dance (Classical, Western, Folk), Drama (One act, Skit, Mime), Singing (Classical, Western, Folk), Insturment playing and Elocution.

Age limit is 8 to 16 years.

Entry fees :
Solo performance: 250/-
Group Performance: 500/-

This event is being organized on the lines of the Maharashtra State Inter-Collegiate Arts Festival. This festival will give the school children the much needed opportunity to show their hidden talents. It will give the parents an opportunity to experience their children’s creative capacities. It will bring into focus the diversity and integrating qualities of a rich Indian culture.
