On 14th September, which is celebrated each year as Hindi Day, the Indian Drama and Entertainment Academy (IDEA) will be staging its dramatic adaptation of Premchand’s stories at a number of schools in Mumbai. The event is titled ‘Hindi Premchand Ke Natakon Ke Sang’. The plays will be performed at the following schools:
Ecole Mondiale World School (Juhu) at 8.30 to 9.30 a.m. Smt. Surjaben Vidya Mandir (Jogeshwari-East) at 10.30 to 12.30 noon, The bai Avabai Framji Petit Girls High School (Bandra-Pali Hill) at 1.30 to 3.30 p.m. The staged stories are ’ Jurmana’ ‘Istefa’, ‘ Gupt Dhan’, ‘ Kafan’, ‘ Anubhav’ and ‘Samasya’.
