Shri Girish Desai (Bhausaheb) Hindi Ekanki Natya Spardha 2008

Shri Girish Desai, popularly known as Bhausaheb was a thespian of the Gujarati Theatre. He was an actor, director and producer of many Gujarati plays. He was intsrumental in re-starting the famous Inter Collegiate Drama Competiton and the Academy of Acting and Direction – the Bharatiya Natya Shikshapeeth.

The Ex Students of Natya Shikshapeeth decided to start a Hindi One-Act play Competition as a tribute to Bhausaheb. Bhausaheb's birthday falls on 1st of April, hence this Competition's final round is held on 1st April each year. This is the 5th year of this Competition.

Elimination Round
24th, 25th, 26th, March 2008 from 5 pm onwards at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Auditorium, Chowpatty.

Final Round
1st April 2006 from 5 pm onwards at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Auditorium, Chowpatty.

Short Film Competition - Final Screening
31st March 2008 from 3 pm onwards at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Auditorium, Chowpatty.
