The Information and Public Relations Department of Kerala will open its fifth edition of the National Theatre Festival on 10th March 2010 in Thiruvananthapuram. This year's festival highlights the theme- Modern-Contemporary Theatre with plays in Hindustani, Malayalam, Hindi, Manipuri and Marathi. Groups have been invited from Delhi, Imphal, Chandigarh, Pune. Select Directors include Atul Pethe, Jyothish MG, Girish Karnad, Anuradha Kapur amongst others.
