Karan Mehra, Nisha Rawal make their Theatre debut...

KARAN MEHRA and NISHA RAWAL in ICHAAPopular Telly serial "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" fame Naitik Ji aka Karan Mehra Hai" makes his debut in Theatre with Praveen Hingonia's 2 plays "POORE CHAAND KI RAAT" & "ICHAA", which co-stars his beloved Nisha Rawal. Karan Mehra's acting school RIRO (Reel in and Reel out) is presenting the 2 plays.

In "POORE CHAAND KI RAAT" Karan will be seen in an unusual look whereas in "Ichha" Nisha plays a brave girl, who is a victim of AIDS. "ICHHA" is supported by Smita Thakre's Mukti Foundation.

When asked to Karan that why he didn't work with his co-actor Akshara from Telly soap? He at once replied, "I got a first chance to work with Nisha and I didn't want to miss this chance." On asking how he felt about acting on stage for the first time? Karan said, "I am feeling good but at the same time I am nervous because there is no retake and cut, and that's why my heart beat is going faster." When asked how did he manage to work in theatres alongwith daily soap? He replied, "It is very difficult to manage time from the daily soap, but I wanted to do something different and now I am doing this."

Nisha said, "Even I am working for the first time on stage but I am feeling good and the best part is that in these plays we have a special message. Apart from that, Smita Ji is also supporting these plays."
