In memory of yesteryear's eminent actor - director of Gujarati theatre and former Director of Program - Kala Kendra, Shri Giresh Desai, lovingly known as 'Bhausaheb', this Open Hindi Ekanki Natya Spardha is organised by the ex - students of the Bharatiya Natya Shikshapeeth in association with Kala Kendra since 2003. This competition gives platform to all amateur artistes. Any college, theatre group or individual can participate in this competition.
