Royal Western India Turf Club and Prithvi theatre join hands to present plays...

The racecourse at Mahalaxmi, one of the city's best known landmarks, may seem an unusual venue for staging plays but the Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) and Prithvi Theatre are set to change the perception. Joining hands, the two organisations will stage a week-long performing arts festival, starting 27th April 2015. Theatre personalities such as Naseeruddin Shah, Makrand Deshpande, Sonali Kulkarni, Rakesh Bedi, among others, will be part of this event.

The plays will be staged in an open-air amphitheatre at the racecourse.
The schedule of the festival is as follows:
