ANARKALI, a play written by Qudsia Zaidi, is set for a production that will be directed by Padma Shri MS Sathyu, who is a well-known film director, stage designer and art director. He is best known for his directorial film Garam Hawa (1973).

Interested actors can audition for roles in the production.

Brief: The classic Anarkali depicts the story of the battle between Emperor Akbar and Prince Salim over the beauteous Anarkali. The royal family drama and generation clash will be made relevant to today's audience in what is proposed to be a grand spectacle.
