Theatre group Yatri will celebrate its 36th anniversary with a 9-day festival (18th-26th January 2015) featuring 17 shows of five different plays at Prithvi Theatre and at the Mysore Association auditorium.
As always the festival will comprise Yatri's older productions such as CHINTA CHHOD CHINTAMINI, its children play MAGIC IF! , its popular play RAVANLEELA, and their latest HEROINE BANOONGI MAIN, a play inspired from Neil Simon's classic I OUGHT TO BE IN PICTURES. The adaptation has been done by Mir Muneer. The festival will also open the group's new production of Ratnakar Matkari's play ABHI TO MAIN JAWAN HOON, a comedy about midlife crisis.
