Astitva and Mumbai Theatre Guide collaborated in 2014 to launch eNatya Shodh, an online one-act play competition with the aim to take one-act plays to a larger audience. This is their second year together and the competition for 2015 is now open to receive entries.

Every year, a number of one-act plays are staged but they don't reach large audiences. They are not widely staged in multiple locations unlike the commercial theatre productions and full length plays.

With the idea to take one-act plays to a wider audience, Astitva and Mumbai Theatre Guide came together to organise an online, one-act play competition. The plays will be judged anonymously by an adjudication panel and the winning plays will be awarded, promoted and streamed online.

Participation is open to all and Entry is Free.

The best plays will receive cash prizes and will also have a ticketed show event for their plays. That's not all. From the day of the final presentation of awards till the three finalists are viewed online by the viewers, the revenue generated by the channel will be shared 50:50 with the three finalists.
