The Vasant Gujarati Natya Utsav at the NCPA...5 plays over three days...

The Vasant Gujarati Natya Utsav celebrates the colours of Gujarati theatre by presenting a selection of some of the best offbeat and experimental plays by well-known theatre companies. The festival is aimed towards bringing out the exciting and inventive side of Gujarati theatre. This year the festival will take place from 20th to 22nd March 2015.

The line-up looks promising this year. Abhinay Banker from Ahemdabad directs Madhu Rye's KOI PAN EK PHOOL NO NAAM BOLO TO, there's a Gujarati adaptation of Satish Alekar's MAHANIRVAN, Dharmendra Gohil directs KESARIYO PHAGANN, Manoj Shah of Ideas Unlimited presents MOHAN NO MASALO and Neeta Reshamiya's SAPTAPADI NO AATHMO PHERO will be directed by Kamlesh Mota.
