Pierrot's Troupe from Delhi is staging ''Nayaab - A Festival of Three Rare Plays'', featuring noted stage and screen actor Tom Alter on February 5, 6 & 7, 2016 at Rangsharda auditorium, K C Marg, Bandra Reclamation, Bandra (West), Mumbai.
The festival has been brought to Mumbai courtesy the Yusuf and Farida Hamied Foundation.
All three plays are written and directed by Dr M Sayeed Alam known for his penchant for humorous and historical productions.
MAULANA AZAD (Urdu Solo by Tom Alter): The first ever, and probably the only play on the life, times, scholarship and secular credentials of the legendary figure Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Date and Time: 5th February; Friday, 7 pm Duration: 2 hours.
K L SAIGAL (Hindi Musical): The first ever play on the life, times and great music of KL Saigal. Date and time: 6th February; Saturday, 7 pm Duration: 1 hour, 45 minutes.
