AGP World, headed by Ashvin Gidwani, is opening a new musical called RETH- SONGS OF THE SAND this weekend at the NCPA. The production has been inspired by William Shakespeare's THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, and if the promos are anything to go by, the music is spell-binding.

The production has been directed by Dr Satyabrata Rout, who is regarded as one of the pioneers in visual theatre, and has written, ‘Scenography: An Indian Perspective'.

Watch Shweta Shetty sing for RETH

Watch Zila Khan talk of her experience during the making of the play.

Recently, the group was invited to do a closed show of their production SCENT OF A MAN at the Royal Opera House theatre in Mumbai, making it effectively the first theatre performance at the refurbished, emblematic heritage property after its recent opening.

Premier shows of RETH: 5th & 6th November 2016 - 7.30 pm - NCPA
