INT-Astitva Hindi One-Act Play Competition in Open Category - 2016...

The Indian National Theatre (INT) has been organising the Inter Collegiate one-act play competition in Marathi annually for the past 45 years. These have proved to be highly popular with the college students of Mumbai.


Astitva has been successfully organising Marathi as well as Hindi one-act play competitions at the inter collegiate level and in open category too. Astitva has also been conducting play writing, acting & theatre orientation workshops since 20 years.

For the 11th year; Astitva-INT in collaboration with Sathaye College has organised the Hindi One-Act Play Competition in Open Category. This competition will take place in the first week of October 2016.

Eliminations will be conducted on Sunday, 25th September 2016 (Rehearsal Round) at Sathaye College Rehearsal Hall. Finals will be conducted on Sunday; 02nd October 2016 (Gandhi Jayanti - Public Holiday) from 11:00 am Onwards at Sathaye College Auditorium, Dikshit Road, Vile Parle (East), Mumbai.

The competition is in open category and all Colleges, amateur and non-professional theatre groups are entitled to participate.

Duly Filled Forms; along with 2 copies of the script to be submitted only on Saturday, 24th September 2016 between 04:00 pm to 06:00 pm at Kshatraikya Samaj, Vanmali Hall, Opp. Chabildas High School, Near Ideal Book Depot, Dadar (West), Mumbai.

Draws for the Eliminations will be done at 06:30 pm on the same day.
