Gillo Repertory Theatre presents a play for children. It is an adaptation of a book by the same name written by Shamim Padamsee and designed by Abir Patwardhan. Simply put, it’s a play about food. Looking at it and cooking it, smelling and touching it, crunching and slurping it, chewing and licking it.
It is about a king who loves to eat and his three chefs who love to cook. Everything is well in the kingdom until the day the princess is born. She turns out to be the fussiest eater in the world! The chefs chip and chop, boil and bake, fry and try but to no avail. The princess likes nothing! Will the chefs have their heads chopped off at the end? Or will they succeed to feed the princess something she likes?
