Actors’ Cult was established in Patna in 1993 and has over 40 productions/700 performances to its credit. It has performed widely in Delhi, Jaipur, Baroda, Pune, Guwahati, Bhopal, Gwalior, Trichur and other locations in India. It has also performed in International destinations such as Tokyo and London.
The group has organized festivals and theatre oriented workshops with schools in and around Patna and has undertaken special projects, involving children from the slums. After having worked in Patna for 11 years, Manch in the last two years has extended its operations to Rajasthan and Delhi, with a special focus on Mumbai. Since 2003, Manch has been active in Mumbai.
The group comprises a number of dedicated theatre practitioners who have resolved to prove the possibilities of vibrant, meaningful theatre experiences. Manch Mumbai's recent productions include RAAG DARBARI, OF MICE AND MEN, BELPATRA and HOUSE OF BERNADA ALBA.
