This is a story about love- platonic love that 'Chakli', a small-town Gujarati woman shares with Rahul. Chakli is 65 years old whereas Rahul is just 30 years old. Chakli has come to Mumbai from her little town Unjha in Gujarat to work as a housemaid in Rahul's house.

The drama starts when Chakli claims that Rahul is her husband! Rahul has just planned to marry his girlfriend, Kinnari. Rahul's family members are shocked by Chakli's assertions and arguments. What follows is an entertaining play with twists and turns.
