Mulraj, a talented architect is bogged down and ridiculed by his tyrant wife Madhu. Jatin is a young architect who works for Mulraj. Jatin has a beautiful wife Reema. Jatin also has two unemployed friends, Rasikand Bhupat. These two friends are more frustrated than Jatin as they feel Jatin with his poor salary is being exploited by his boss, Mulraj. They decide to teach Mulraj a lesson.
On the other hand Mulraj after being reduced by his wife to a mere servant , plans with his friend Jaisingh, to kidnap her and be kept in a dark cell for a couple of days without food so that she is reformed. But Madhu, the wife turns out to be a smarter woman. The kidnapping drama continues and Madhu hatches her own plot. The comedy rolls on. Madhu and Mulraj eventually realize their follies as they rediscover their love for each other.
