The play revolves around a husband-wife relationship. They have been married since many years, have a child and are living happily together in a joint family. One fine day the husband feels that he is being unfair to his wife and so are his family members with all their routine and unending demands.
He decides to let his wife live her life the way she would like to and tells his family the same. The wife is now free to do as she pleases. But as the new life takes over the husband feels he has made a mistake. Finally when the situation goes out of control, taking a toll of every family member"s life, the husband asks his wife to resume life as they were once used to. The wife tells him that she was only pretending to live a free life and is more than happy to do her duties.
