Champaklal Mehta is an orthodox Gujarati Teacher who believes in old values and proper pronunciation of words but unfortunately his only daughter, Vandana falls in love with Gagan and runs away to marry him. Champaklal is very upset with this but his wife Shobha, who is again a very peculiar character and a die hard follower of the self-declared Krishna avtar, Batuk Maharaj, supports Vandana's decision.

She respects her son-in-law more then her husband. Champaklal is helpless but gets an opportunity to seek his revenge. By default, Gagan is caught by the police in a red light area and Champaklal makes an issue of it. He manages to bring his daughter back and issues no entry warrant against Gagan. Now Gagan swears to take revenge on his father-in-law and what follows creates a laughter riot.
