Aarti Mazumdar is a business tycoon. She has a son, Aaditya, who is a paralytic on a wheelchair and is not sharing a cordial relationship with her. She has a friend, philosopher and guide in Atul Marfatia. One day a neuroscientist Dr. Eshita. Mehta comes to meet her, seeking finance for her new experiment, which she has invented. It is a memory scan device which helps doctors to trace the memory of patients who have suffered mental disorders, paralysis, or such other ailments due to some unworthy incident or shock in their lives. The patients can thus be treated if their cause is ascertained through the use of this memory scan.
When the Doctor is about to leave the house after explaining her entire project to Aarti, the son has an accidental fall and blames his mother for his condition and there is an emotional outburst. This is witnessed by Eshita and she is very intrigued with the mother-son relationship and is hell bent on finding out what is that has caused this and why is the son behaving in such a vindictive manner. Eshita's father, Bhaskar Mehta, who lives in France, comes down to India as soon as he hears that his daughter has met Aarti Mazumdar. In the meantime due to some business rivalry, Aarti Mazumdar is shot.
This is a golden opportunity for Eshita to try her experiment on Aarti and find out what is so intriguing about this woman who seems to be cold blooded and full of vengenance but in reality is an emotional wreck. With the help of her friend Rohan she successfully scans Aarti Mazumdar's memory and is very shocked to see her own father, Bhaskar Mehta's face and a whole lot of smoky visuals about Aaditya's paralytic stroke...
