SOORDAS

After the success of his earlier plays, TULSI, KABEER, VIVEKANAND, Shekhar Sen stages SOORDAS. The blind poet Soordas was a devotee of Lord Krishna. His bhajans devoted to Krishna, spread the message of love. The two-hour long play will feature 36 melodious songs.

The play covers 105 years of his life span, and touches upon interesting tales such as Mahaprabhu Vallabhachary's influence on him and his meetings with Swami Haridas, Tulsidas, Meerbai, Akbar & Tansen.
