AAM AADMI KI AATMAKATHA is a political satire that ironically holds a mirror to the common man himself. Samir, whose life revolves around his work and family like millions of others, encounters an extraordinary incident that leaves him totally baffled and which convinces him that Mahatma Gandhi has entrusted him with the task of writing the autobiography of the common man.
Interestingly enough, he embarks on a journey to reveal the sufferings of the common man like a trusted disciple but what he did not foresee were the hurdles he was going to face along the way.
He uses RTI as the tool to uncover the truth closeted in government offices and in the process ends up ruffling a few feathers. From the local politicians to the underworld dons, everyone tries to pressurize him out of writing his autobiography. His own family turns against him, fearing for his safety but Samir stands up against all odds... only to give up one fine day as the enlightenment dawns on him.
The quest to expose the truth takes him to a journey within and he realizes that the common man has to be the change, to inspire a change in society at large.
