“Goswami Tulsidas” is a mono-act, musical play. The pious soul of Goswami Tulsidas comes on earth for a day and tells his own story. We get to know how an orphaned, beggar boy becomes one of the greatest poets of India. Goswami Tulsidas also brought about exemplary social reforms. He was inspired to write the Ramayana in Awadhi (a dialect of Hindi) called the ‘Shree Ram Charit Manas’.

This 120-minutes long play has 50 musical sequences, which merge with the story. The viewers get a panaromic view of Tulsidas’ literary work and the play further endeavours to recreate his life in its varying phases.
