TO ALBELA

TO ALBELA revolves around an artist, who is a great admirer of MF Hussain. After shifting to a room in a Mumbai chawl, he wants to paint a portrait of a lady in the neighbourhood. But, she is reluctant. The owner of the rooms in the chawl is also trying to make advances towards the same lady. In spite of suffering this harassment, the lady doesn't complain to the police and the artist does not like the lady for this. But, the lady soon becomes friendly with the artist. The artist begins to face opposition from the society. The play deals with these conflicts.
