Iraq is a historical fantasy. The playwright, Cham Pra Deshpande has written plays on three of the Purusharthas: Dharm, Karm and Moksha. This is about the fourth Purusharth: Arth (economy).
The constant itch of trying to become a super power is the subject of the play. To highlight this question the playwright has brought our present political state of affairs and Iraq on one platform. This is probably the first Marathi Play to deal with international politics.
