HOLD THE MOMENT- a five-day workshop is designed and facilitated by ALOK ULFAT, a journey from stillness to speech, with the help of highly potent elements of the SELF. This voice and speech training workshop explores Silence, Sound, Voice, Speech, and Script, to help strengthen & refine the skills of professionals such as actors, orators, presenters, stand-ups, vocalists, newsreaders, MCs, and motivational speakers. The dynamic workshop gives ample opportunity to the participants to inspire each other and draw strength from the surroundings.

Alok Ulfat, a writer, director, theatre practitioner & teacher, has been creating festivals and conducting workshops & mentoring artists in India & Abroad for over two decades. He has worked with voice and speech, theater maestros like B.V. Karanth, Cicely Frances Berry, Dawn Langman, Daniele Gaillemin and Par Ahlbum.

Alok completed Speech & Drama and teacher training from Emerson College U.K. (5 years). Later he traveled extensively in India and Abroad learning from various centers and disciplines. He has taught at the National School of Drama (TIE) New Delhi and Film & Television Institute of India, Pune. He is highly experienced teacher of Stage and Screen Acting and continues to work finding original approach and path breaking research in Performing Arts.

Today his students are well known actors, directors, musicians, writers, models, teachers in Theatre, Film & Television Industry and have been recognised for there creativity and originality. He has also been an Act Directed for Star and Zee Television.

The proceeds from these workshops go towards Avikal's research Centre and Cultural Centre for children of Nanhi Dunya Rangshala in Dehradun. Nanhi Dunya is a registered charity and has been working for children, women and youth since 1946.
