We all have stories to tell, be it in any walk of life. The most obvious example of this is in the media. But our corporate, professional and personal lives have a lot of invisible storytelling too! And it’s a select few who do this storytelling well.

An overview of the workshop -

- Examining the basic elements of communicating effectively, be it verbally or on paper. What do you want to ‘say’ and how to go about it?

- Structuring ideas, thoughts and emotions for effective communication.

- Understanding the power of language as a tool of communication - written or spoken.

- Understanding the above in real-time experimentation and interaction with others on the workshop floor, as opposed to theory.

- A wide array of texts as worskhop material ensures diversity and challenge - prose, poetry, short stories, even articles and essays.

- Examining our comfort zones - we learn most when what we take for granted is gently questioned, in a safe and trustworthy environment.

- Plain fun!

There is much to be gained from focused interaction with people from different walks of life, and this theatre workshop does exactly that. For, quite literally, everyone has a story to tell...and everyone’s listening!

And...if things go well, all this may culminate in a performance in an intimate space for an invited audience. For ultimately, the play’s the thing!
