Which was the last film for Sunny Deol and Subhash Ghai. One may not remember, as the icons of Hindi cinema, who were synonymous with hit films seem to have lost the touch and have been tumbling from one flop film to another. Would RIGHT YAA WRONG turn right for them?
From the banner of Mukta Arts, RIGHT YAA WRONG is the first film that is a thriller and for a change Subhash Ghai is not directing the film, but has handed over the baton of direction to Neeraj Pathak. Another deconstruction attempted in the film is that Sunny Deol is not at his fighting best; instead, he is playing a character, which has become physically handicapped. Could this be the film then, which would make the fortune smile on them? Well, the ingredients seem to be right, as thriller as a genre if it is done in a competent manner is able to evince interest of the audience and RIGHT YAA WRONG professes to belong to this category.
CHECK OUT: Isha Koppikar's hot love making scene
A buzz has already been created for RIGHT YAA WRONG by the statement given by the female star Esha Kopikhar that henceforth she would not be a part of hot bedroom scenes. It could be a smart marketing ploy to invite the audience to have a dekho of a hot Esha for the last time. For Esha it could be her swan song as banner of Mukta Arts is a banner, which is aspiration of every actor worth his grain in Hindi film industry.
For Konkona Sen Sharma, RIGHT YAA WRONG is a film where she is playing the role of a lawyer, a new role that she would be experimenting with, as so far her career has been dotted with films, which have a significant up market urbanism about them. Interestingly enough, after a really long time Hindi cinema also turns to court room drama and after a really long time a lady lawyer would be shown through RIGHT YAA WRONG.
History of Hindi cinema is illustrious in the sense that whenever the mainstream actors have played the role of a physically handicapped actor, they have garnered the support of the audience and their films have emerged as sure fire hit at box office. For Subhash Ghai and Sunny Deol, who have been handicapped in their career by paucity of hits, RIGHT YAA WRONG needs to prove right for them.
