Hema Malini: A truly multifaceted and gifted personality, Hema Malini has carried the mantle of Bollywood superstar as easily as the distinction of being one of the foremost classical dancers of the country. Having learnt her art from Guru Sikkil Ramaswamy Pillai of the Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi, she blossomed under the tutelage of Guru Kittapa Pillai, Guru Vempatti China Satyam and Guru Natanam Gopalkrishnan in Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohini Attam respectively. A tenure apprenticeship under the famed Mylapore Gowri Ammal opened new vistas in the Abhinay aspect of Bharat Natyam for Hema Malini. A course in the theory and practice of Carnatic music lent substance and direction to the pursuit of classical dances. Of late, Hema Malini has popularized the dance ballet- a unique and accessible from of classical dance which appeals because of its simplicity, directness and grandeur. Amongst these Geet Govind, Durga, and Draupadi, with Hema in the lead, have gone on to become huge successes with audiences across India and Abroad.

Esha and Ahana: The young Deols, Esha and Ahana have inherited their mother's artistic legacy. Having trained under Pt. Athibuddhi, they have taken well to the glorious tradition of Odissi. Esha's recent success in films also proves her versatility as an artiste. The two daughters will be part of the performing trio, making up a veritable feast for the eyes with their exquisite rendition of the classical dance from.
