“Let’s Rage” a statement of vigour and tenacity, Albeit in slang, illustrates the personality
of an assemblage of dynamic and motivated young associates, whose passion for theatre
comes together in a partnership called Rage.
Today Rage is one of Bombay’s leading theatre companies, with a large aggregation
of successful productions. Founded in 1992, The Company opened curtains with “Are
there tigers in the Congo?”- A Masterpiece on Aids, ever since, Rage and its members
have been involved in bringing to audiences, not only in Bombay, but all over the country,
fine productions such as A.R. Gurney’s “Love Letters”, Neil Simon’s “ I ought to be in pictures”,
Harold Pinter’s “ One for the Road”, Hosi vasunia’s “Steel Magnolias”, The hugely
successful, “I’m not Bajiroa” and John Guare’s amazing “Six Degrees of separation”.
Beyond India, Rage has staged performances in Colombo, Singapore, Dubai, Sharjah and Muscat.
In an endeavour to bring together art and commerce, Rage has shaken hands with
leading corporate houses, whose support and investment stands testimony to the
group’s commitment to theatre. But the Rage aura popularis comes not only from its
productions. A cast of founder members, each one a leading stage or screen personality,
brings to the group a combined force of unparalleled talent.
