For 15th August this year, "Readings in the Shed" brings a set of original plays borne out of a collaboration between the Readings team and playwrights from Director's Cut Theatre Company (London). Four original scripts that draw from the past and comment on the present, will be read in a performative form. The plays encourage a dialogue with the past and offer a fresh, cross-cultural perspective on a shared history.

Original writings by playwrights in the United Kingdom developed in collaboration with an Indian team of playwrights, philosophers and readers, will make this a special reading.
