Playwright Satish Alekar, famously known for plays such as BEGUM BARVE and MAHANIRVAN, is also an actor. He will now be seen in Mahesh Manjrekar's upcoming film 'Me Shivaji Park" which is due for release on 18th October 2018.

The film depicts the day to day erosion of law and order and the political malaise affecting us. It is like a fantasy thriller that brings together a retired judge (Vikram Gokhale), a police officer (Ashok Saraf), a doctor (Shivaji Satam), a Gandhian Professor (Dilip Prabhavalkar) and a retired bank officer, played by Satish Alekar.

Satish Alekar plays Satish Joshi, whose young grand-daughter has committed suicide to escape the sexual advances of a very rich builder. The builder responsible for the suicide is out on bail.

How the above brave group of men find a way to act together in a parallel way in their fight for justice against the builder and the other offenders, is what the film in brief is about.

The film's strong cast will work to its advantage. Its poster is already going viral on social media.
