Dear Rajesh and Mukta,
The drama was "EXCELLENT". Mukta's father (Col.Nimbhalkar)acted well. But Mukta's so called husband (Lawyer) was not upto the mark. Mukta! U are superb (actually I wanted to come and kiss you after the drama was over. Keep it up.

Excellent rendering

Code Mantra is a highly effective theatrical effort. The team work, neat write-up, excellent acting by ALL are the main highlights and moreover no attempt is made to over dramatise or show-off of patriotism, which is recently in vogue.. The show makes a sincere effort to unravel the presence (or absence??) of the human being which is embedded in the uniform.
However, I felt that the end was made more melodramatic in showing the relation between the tyrant and the lawyer. Hence according to me, it was unreal, very much against the genre of the play.
Cudos to Mukta, who is the joint producer as well for chosing a very over-sensitised topic, which was handled with extreme care and very truthful too...

Had a thrilling experience and appreciated the team spirit of all the artist. The court scene of Mukta and Purkar (Col) was the best specially the end climax of father and daughter, the daughter's feeling for her father. Good luck to you Mukta and awaits such productions in future.

Code Mantra- adoption/copy of Tom Cruise 1992 movie A few good men

i didn't get to see the play as yet, so can't comment about performances or credits. Reading the story line and review, it seems is a copy or adoption of super hit 1992 Tom Cruise, Jack Nicolson movie, A few good men. Tom cruise and Demi Moore play the lawyer duo. Movie was Oscar nominated for best picture besides other three nominations. If the credit is given to the movie, it's can be classified as good adoption, but if it's not, then it's copy. Definitely a different subject for Indian audience. Somebody may come up with hindi movie as well.Somebody please comment whether appropriate credits were given in the play or not.

yes, due credits are given to the original play "a few good men" by aron sorkin before code mantra starts. The movie is based on the play by sorkin.

Hello,
Here's Why one should watch this Play -
1) Intense Drama - Beautiful story and drama will keep you engage till the end.
2) Music, Lights and sets - All will transport you to the place and this extent of superior technicality is never done in Marathi Plays.
3) Acting Powerhouse -
Not length but depth of each role is stunning.
But, Special mention to Mukta's and Ajay's Finest performance.
Overall, Outstanding Play..!!!

Yesterday saw code mantra and it was really nice drama. All characters are very well trained and Mukta Barve is the best. and also Ajay purkar is best.
