Was expecting how Raichand Sheth became Srimad Rajchandra on the journey with Gandhiji.

3. Technically supurb presentation

Great play!

Yugpurush is a delight. Though independent, it's much within the recent trend of biographical plays in Gujarati. Recounting the life of one of Mohandas' biggest inspirations, Kavi Raichand, the play is brilliant in execution- a rare treat in mainstream Gujarati theatre. Relying heavily on actual accounts from Gandhis autobiography, the play starts from Gandhis first rendezvous with Raichand and continues till post independence. the acting is flawless, the pace is good and the execution is nothing short of brilliant. A surprise bonus was the uncanny set changes- never have i seen the stage being managed so beautifully. The only drawback was a relatively slow pace at the start which corrects quite soon and of course, the out and out marketing of one of his disciple's group (I think his name is Saint Rakesh)- before the play starts they show a video extolling his unparalleled contributions which I personally found unwarranted.
There is a general ignorance about figures from our country's past- this is an amazing step in the right direction to correct that.
Highly recommend watching it !

I required 1 ticket of this YUGPURUSH show of 26th March 3.room show at Mumbai. I am unable to get tickets from center as all centers are close on Sunday. Kindly advise how can i get ticket for this show

Will be delighted if Mahatma na Mahatma can be staged in Nairobi. There is a large Gujarati Jain population.
Nairobi can bear the cost of transport, accommodation and incidentals.
