Are you a passionate and daring performer? Are you looking for professional Theatre training that is intensive, physical and joyous?

The DUENDE School of Ensemble Physical Theatre offers training that combines theatre, dance, music, improvisation to create a complete, dynamic and interdisciplinary performer.

The course, taught by a mix of European and Indian teachers contains modules on:
  • movement
  • text
  • voice
  • musicality
  • rhythm
  • improvisation
  • ensemble
  • solo performance building

    • The course will culminate in a fully staged production directed by the Artistic Director of DUENDE, John Britton.

    DATES: 14th October to 14th December 2018
    APPLICATION DEADLINE: 15th August 2018
    VENUE: The Company Theatre- Workspace, India (Kamshet, Maharashtra)
    and Shoonya - Centre for Art and Somatic Practices (Bengaluru, Karnataka)

    FACULTY:

    John Britton (Founder & Artistic Director): Core training, ensemble, improvisation and Directing final performance.
    Manjari Kaul: Dramaturgy, Physical Training, Devising & Object Manipulation.
    Dr Eilon Morris: Musicality and Physical Training.
    Avantika Bahl Goyal: Choreography
    Bindhumalini Narayanaswamy: Voice and Song
