Posed as a thriller-comedy, AJANYO ORKHITO boasts of Sarita Joshi as one of its principal characters. Gujarati stage is akin to Bollywood when it comes to ratings based on star cast appeal. By that measure, AJANYO ORKHITO is bound to do well because of Sarita Joshi, an established actor known for her histrionics.

Produced by Padmaraj Theatres, the plot of this play revolves around a bank manager who is found to be suddenly acting strange by all his friends, colleagues and relatives, including his wife. This man is caught with various acts of wrongdoing but when confronted, shirks responsibility.

A series of such events leads the wife to not only grow suspicious but to also think of a look-alike who must be responsible for framing her husband. And indeed, a look-alike is discovered!

One would think that this immediate suspense being resolved, what else could this play have in store? But there is more...patience can translate into mounting suspense. The makers of AJANYO ORKHITO vouch for that.
