Three women are in search of their identity. The first woman- Samman, is a seventeen year old girl, who is from a town called Satara in Maharashtra. She is brilliant academically. She comes to Mumbai, but with her baggage of complexes. The second woman called Sayaara belongs to the rich and the posh class of Mumbai that appears to be progressive and modern but at the slightest provocation, the deep rooted orthodox mentality is reflected. The third woman is called Saleema. Actually from Bihar, but settled in Mumbai since long, she appears to be an ordinary, middle- aged housewife, but fiercely attacks the police constable when her family appears to be in danger.
