Two friends, Raja (Muni Jha) and Praja (Kukul Taarmaster) are working for a daily newspaper, which is run by Bakul Rawal (Nari Hari Jani). As hard times befall the two friends, they become desperate to find ways that would earn them money. As fate would have it, they come upon a classified in their newspaper, which requires a lady teacher to teach an NRI student about Indian culture.
Immediately Raja sees the opportunity and wastes no time convincing his friend about it, as the fees that will be paid to the employed teacher will be very high. The student in question is a girl called Sapna (Rushali) whose father Nanu (Sharad Vyas) is a millionaire. Nanu decides to come to India with his daughter because she has turned into a rebel. Sapna has her own reasons for being the way she is.
When she hears from Bakul Rawal that a teacher by the name of Leela Lapsiwala is going to come and teach her, she decides along with her maidservant, Santu (Sanchi Peswani) to play a prank. And thus the comedy ensues…
