CHOUKON, a new Marathi play will open at Shivaji Mandir on 30th October 2005

Written by Waman Tawade and directed by Mahendra Teredesai, CHOUKON is a Marathi play that comments on male chauvinism in the context of dance bars. The subject is topical and it would therefore be interesting to see how it has been given a dramatic treatment.

The cast of the play includes Ashwini Ekbote, Sonalika Joshi, and Durgesh Akerkar amongst others. The plays first show is scheduled to take place on 30th October 2005 at Shivaji Mandir at 11:00 am. Please refer to our Schedule section for other dates of the play.
