Makrand Deshpande�s �Ansh� Celebrates its Theatre Fest at Prithvi this week...

Formed in 1993 by writer, director and actor, Makrand Deshpaande, �Ansh� calls itself a radical theatre group that has broken with convention. It has developed a loyal audience following and has successfully done plays in a variety of genres.

�Ansh� has been supported in its journey by the brilliance of actors like Kay Kay, Sudhir Pande, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sonali Kulkarni, Anurag Kashyap, Mita Vashisht, Mona Ambegaonkar, Vijay Mourya and many more.

The theatre group loves to experiment with sets, property, costume and light and music design. To date it has produced 33 full-length original plays. Some of the highlights of this festival are plays like EK KADAM AAGE which was earlier produced as DREAM MAN and SA HI BESURA which teams up actors Sudhir Pandey and Vijay Mourya to create a laugh-a-riot.
