Ekjute's Theatre Workshop…Starts 15th July 2007…

Ekjute, one of the oldest Hindi theatre groups in Mumbai will be conducting its theatre workshop under the guidance of its Artistic Director, Mrs. Nadira Zaheer Babbar. The workshop will take place between 15th July to 5th August 2007.

Timings: 6.00 to 9.00 pm.
Venue: Multi Purpose Hall, 2nd Floor, Hansraj Morarji Public School, Bhavan's College Campus, Andheri (W), Mumbai 400 058.

Here’s an opportunity to experience the fun, excitement and thrills of the profession called ‘Drama’. During this workshop, participants will be given extensive training in all aspects of the theatre. They will learn and understand things like techniques of Make-up, StageCraft, Costume Designing, Light effects, Intricacies of Music, Dance, Theatre Songs, Acting, Movements, Dialogue Delivery, Improvisation, Character Building, Voice and Speech, Emotional Memory etc.

Eminent theatre personalities such as Mrs. Sarita Joshi, Mr. Ashish Vidyarthi, Mr. Atul Tiwari, Mr. Darpan Mishra, Mr. Amod Bhatt and Ms. Juhi Babbar will also be present to share their experiences and impart knowledge.

Enrolment starts from 8th July 2007, between 5.00 to 8.00 p.m at the venue mentioned above. Forms will be available at Prithvi Theatre as well.
