Every year Yatri and its Artistic Director, Om Katare invite aspiring actors, who want to take up Acting as a career. Yatri’s Acting workshop is aimed at brushing up the actor’s latent talent and imparting to him the knowledge essential for the performing arts.
A talented and committed few are chosen each year for the Yatri repertory company. Yatri has been conducting this workshop for the last 20 years. This year also, Yatri has planned to have a 30-day-long workshop, with two performances on the concluding day at Mysore Association, Matunga. These two short plays will be produced with the participants of the workshop.
DETAILS OF THE WORKSHOP
Yatri’s Production Oriented Theatre Workshop On Acting will be conducted by theatre personality Om Katare. This workshop will cover all the aspects of Acting. The following modules will be covered -- Speech, Diction, Body Language, Compulsory Tools for an Actor, Play Reading, Improvisation, and Imagination.

Western Rly Social Welfare Centre, Western Rly. Colony, Andheri (E), Mumbai from October 8, 2007, up to November 7, 2007. Timings- 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
