Aasakta, Pune Presents A Children's Play At Prithvi Theatre...

A Pune based theatre company, which recently won accolades for its production of TU, Aasakta is now busy pe4rforming its new children�s play, BED KE NEECHE REHNEWALI. The play premiered at Prithvi Theatre�s ongoing �Summertime� for children.

For children between 10 yrs to 100+

As a child, Ira had an invisible friend named Manu, who lived under her bed. At night Ira and Manu shared secrets, made promises, and confided in each other. Then one day Ira grew up and stopped believing in her invisible friend. This children's play opens with Manu crawling out from beneath Ira's bed. Manu wants to know; after all they have been through together, why Ira stopped believing in her. Anyone who has ever had an invisible friend as a child is sure to enjoy this whimsical one act comedy for young people.

About Aasakta:

Aasakta, an experimental theatre group from Pune, has emerged as one of the leading performers in Pune's theatre scenario. Since its inception in 2003, the group has produced several Marathi productions which include Tu, Charshe Koti Visarbhole and Matra Ratra. Fresh talents, innovative and exclusive production value, precision in technique, contemporary aesthetics and unique, contemporary content have been the attributes of Each of Aasakta's production. This is the first play for young ones being produced by Aasakta.
