Gujarati Play TRAN CRORE, CHOVEES KALAK, EK SAWAL will Celebrate its 100th Show at Bhaidas...

MTG editorial

TRAN CRORE, CHOVEES KALAK, EK SAWAL opened at Tejpal on 1st June 2008. Since then the play has done well and is now set to celebrate its 100th show at Bhaidas on 16th November 2008.

According to Producer-Director Rasik Dave, who also plays one of the leading characters in the play, there is a unique experience on offer here for the Gujarati theatre audience. The last twenty to twenty-five minutes of the play literally involve the audience in an attempt to find the solution to the social malaise of medical malpractice. The so-called hero finds himself in the villains chair while the villain emerges as the hero.

Along with Rasik Dave, the play also features Homi Wadia and Ketki Dave in the lead roles. So far the play has travelled to Ahemdabad, Surat and Baroda. It is likely to travel abroad next year.
