LIC's IIT Bombay Theatre Fest 2008 is a 5-day long festival of plays performed by some of the most renowned names in Indian Theatre and hosted by IIT Bombay. Launched in 2006 by the well-known playwright and director Ramu Ramanathan, LIC's IIT Bombay Theatre Fest was envisaged as a medium to introduce fresh and intelligent minds to the medium of theatre. The third edition of the Fest, being organised by Fourth Wall, the dramatics club of IIT Bombay and sponsored by LIC, is slated to be held between 1st and 6th October 2008.
Apart from some of the highly acclaimed plays by professional artists, some award winning plays by students of IIT Bombay at different college festivals across the country will also be staged. This will prove as a platform for some of the young talented artists to interact and learn from the theatre veterans and also showcase their talent to a wider audience.

During the fest, an acting workshop for IIT students will be conducted by Mr. Atul Mongia of Apalak workshops.
