Based on the original Russian story 'A Disobedience Holiday' by Sergei Mikhalkov, SUTTI-BUTTI has been adapted and dramatized by Abhay Mahajan and Nipun Dharmadhikari.
About the Play:
A group of 8-10 year olds wake up to find that their parents having got irritated with their behavior, have abandoned them. With no one to control them and loads of ice-cream, sweets, games, T.V. at their disposal they enjoy themselves to the fullest!
How important are our parents? Why do we take them for granted? It is just a matter of time that they are faced with these and similar questions. This is a play dedicated to the bunch of people ... fondly known as mom and dad. Directed by: Nipun Dharmadhikari
About the group: ‘Naatak Company’ was formed with a drive and enthusiasm to try-out something new constantly. The group is made of young people in their twenties. SUTTI-BUTTI is their first production.
