ALL THAT I WANNA DO is a dramatized reading of a contemporary poem in Marathi. The poem is a 'deerghakaavya', 35 pages to be precise. It is also written in a form which is not particulary poetic but prose like. However, in essence it is a poem. The visuals, drama created in the poem is visceral and disturbing taking the route of a satire which also makes it amusing at the same time.

Director's Note:
The basic purpose of this reading is to generate maximum opinions on the poem while looking at it only from the point of view of a 'performance'. The poem in itself is a good read for an individual and one can enjoy the beauty of its imaginative canvas sitting in the cosy surroundings of one's own reading place. The necessity of a collective reading springs only from the fact that we, as creative people who want to translate this form of expression into another, need different interpretations of this work to help us design our process with a near-to-complete understanding of it. It is vast in its scope, the images it draws and refers to sometimes are varied and referring to different aspects of the society. Our aim, through this reading, is to try and squeeze out its maximum comprehendable meaning.
