FLAMES OF THE SNOW'Flames of the Snow' is concentrated on two issues - the significance of the Nepalese revolution in the world today and the conspiracy by US and other imperialist countries to thwart this revolution. The film shows the historical participation of women in this epic fight. It also tells how United Nations could make inroads into Nepal. The film ends with the dismantling of the Monarchy and establishment of the Republic.

Produced under the joint banner of 'GRINSO' and 'Third World Media', the 125-minute film has been produced and written by Anand Swaroop Verma, a senior journalist and expert on Nepalese affairs. The director, Ashish Srivastava, has a rich experience of working with Discovery channel.
